Beginning Note: The winner of the StickPage Lifetime Achievement Award will be featured on StickPage front page in a news post! :) This poll will close on 05-07-2013

Hello and welcome to the StickPage Lifetime Achievement Award!
We've taken on the job of finding the animator that has entertained and influenced us most in the entire history of stick animation ! Long story short, our history is more complex than you would expect. Therefore, 96 people were nominated for this contest!

We will have a 32-contestant knockout-tournament style contest (that means 1 on 1 poll battles). That means we'll be making a total of 80 polls over the next few months (I don't expect it to be longer than 2 or 3 months) over the course of 5 stages! With this much work and voting going on we need to make sure that the participants are all worth the effort.
For more information on the technical aspects of the contest, please read this thread: http://forums.stickpage.com/showthread.php?56850-Greatest-Stick-Animator-of-All-Time

Also, I would like to thank Hidro for taking time to provide links to the work of the vast majority of nominees. Thanks! :)

This is a multiple-choice poll. You can vote for as many animators as you like but I suggest you keep it down to 32. OTHERWISE, WE WON'T GET ANYWHERE. It's nice when everybody wins, but this is not the case. So give your choices some good thinking! :) I really trust you guys to vote for more than just your friends. Take some time to read that list and check out some of the projects these guys made. I especially encourage you to try the work of the people you DO NOT KNOW. We've filtered the list and the chances are very high that the people you don't know are pioneers. So you may not know them because they were great before you were even here. :D VOTE FOR THE BEST, not only for your friends. It's nice when everybody wins, but this is not the case. I also included project names in the poll options for some of those oldies you may not know just so you don't think they're some random amateurs someone nominated. Note: Those last guys without examples... according to a few guys in IRC, they're actually from so far back I... well... couldn't find their work anymore.

The 32 with most votes overall win!
In this thread you can also debate about the contestants and post their animations. REMEMBER, FULL PROJECTS MATTER MOST. This is a Lifetime Achievement award and no one will be remembered for "particles test" or "rhg test" no matter how good it is. If it's 5 seconds long, it's not worth it.

I apologize in advance for the brain damage I may have caused with the long post. Things will get simpler as it goes. :) Only the beginning is hard. Let me handle the boring stuff. You just go ahead and enjoy awesome animations and do some valuable voting! Thank you very much.

Also, here's a list of examples of animations for all those people above.

Disclaimer: We have been allowed to have up to 100 options IN THIS POLL ONLY, ON THIS OCCASION ONLY. This will not become a permanent change in Poll Central! Thanks for understanding.

Any SP contest that's determined by a popular vote should just start with "Before we get started, congratulations to Terkoiz for winning! Now that that's out of the way, let's see who wins second place".

Zhu all the way.

Lol, yet at the very same time. He is THE MAN. You can't tell me he doesn't continuously up the bar with nearly each animation. :}
which is always a joy to see, but always tough for olds like myself to stay relevant.

Well, the poll doesn't seem to be able to give correct percentages but it's alright, cause the vote count is accurate.

Castle series and Black & White were the two series that really attracted me to Stickpage. That's why I voted for them. ( I remember dreaming of being able to do such great animations )

Shynzo, he may not be in because we couldn't find any serious projects of his... or... I may have accidentally deleted him while updating the list, case in which, I'm sorry.

Also, Rochedan, the first stick I ever saw was A Nice Day to Die. And then I saw the Castle Series and I was hooked for life. Nothing better than a plot and drama combined with stick characters. And Oscar was so damn good he actually made us care about the fate of such simple characters. I mean, giving a stickman so much personality has just got to be difficult. Voice acting came in handy with that too.

@ Ghombeat: Busted. :P No biggie though... you can all vote for yourselves if you want. We have a big enough turnout so that won't make a difference.

EDIT: Some standings after 26 voters. 15 days to go and a lot more votes to cast.
Things are looking good so far.

Because Madness is a style on its own. As long as there's a Madness Day, we can't really include Krinkles here.
