What happens when I drop Gold Membership?

I'm thinking about dropping Gold membership for a short time. Will I lose my armory items that I've purchased? If I resub later, will I get the first month bonus again?

you wont be able to use any armoury stuff for chaos, cos you wont have chaos. But you will be able to use anything you bought for order.
When you re-subscribe, you'll get access to it all again.

Yes, you get the 1000 first month bonus.

So if I drop chaos with chaos items,then sign back up for gold membership I lose those armory items?

I think so. Cause new membership could mean new beginning with chaos.

If you stop paying for membership, you lose the ability to use chaos, so you would lose all your items for chaos.
When you restart paying for membership, you would regain the ability to use chaos and regain all your items for it as well.

Basically, you keep your items (that you bought before) even if you stop getting membership. But you can only use the chaos items when you get membership again.

so before i pay every month i could pay my 4 bucks,restart,get 1000 gold and keep my items i bought?

why is it unfair? You didnt rent the armoury items, you bought them - once you pay (coins) for them you own them in game.
But you did rent access to chaos, and if you stop paying rent you lose access to chaos. This also means anything you bought for chaos you still have, but cant access. If you start paying again, you get access to chaos and can use the things you previously bought.

Maybe you mean getting 1000 coins each time you sign up again?
Well how can a gift be unfair? It's designed as an incentive to get you to pay to join up, and thats exactly what it does if you quit your membership.
But yes, its kind of playing the system to quit and rejoin :)
