It will surely be effective for 1200~1500, maybe 1600s as well, but that's just my guess. But it's more simple to use sword + archer or swords with rage. Swords with rage is probably simple and easy to use.

That's why I suggest to put on a rating limit. This will surely be good to noobs. Sword archer might be too high of a level for them.

I saw some people at like 1500s use sword + archer, but don't execute it. Even I don't. LOL. But those have knowledge about these strategies and probably were looking at the forums at some time. It is a great starting strategy, and could evolve into even something better!
