pivot 3 has never crashed on me andd ive usd it for about when it first started

It really doesn't matter at all what program you use. Jesus crist, use whatever you want, it isn't going to make you better just by using a higher version of pivot.

The only differences between 2.2.5 and 3.0 are:

3.0 can save as seperate .gif and .jpg images.
3.0 supports sprite images.
3.0 is slightly more user freindly, showing the fps, ect.
3.0 lets you choose if you want anti aliasing.
3.0 is only beta, so it crashes and screws some of your frames.
And acouple more, that I cant be assed writing.

Not very much differences as you can see, so can people just stfu about all this "no pivot 2.2.5 is better" crap. No one wants to hear it, they are both the same thing.

Even tho it has ALOT of bugs, stykz from stykz.net is picking up where Pivot left off. It can use all of pivots features (minus sprites) and is available for the mac aswell as the PC.

Yeah, I heard about that, I might check it out in like a month. For now, good old pivot will do just fine.
