Animating in pivot will grant you a lot of respect by the community. Everyone will look up to you for creating a pivot. Forget about those baby programs like easytoon, or Adobe Flash, cause you're animating like a REAL animator.

Get 2.2.5. It crashes less. Besides that there is no real difference between versions.

You could even get both and compare if you like. They take less than a minute to download.
