Dafaq I add the yo?

So uhm yeah, we have all witnessed it before
Mid Winter it looks like everyones dead

Winter Break they back
Spring hits people die
Spring Break resurrects

But then the biggest, and most productive is the summer.
Of course this means no school for most people, so more time to do whatever.

But as a community this usually brings MASS activity and productivity.

Ive already started seeing signs of early summer activity, so I wanted to make this thread now, the first day of May.

So I want to get peoples Goals, plans, and hopes for this 2013 animators summer.

Maybe you're gonna make a full length
Maybe you're gonna do an RHG
Maybe you're gonna do more podcasts

Idk, post it here.

For me personally, I am planning on launching a HUGE Stick figure series, that I really shouldn't be talking about much.

I want this summer to be the time for my clan PII, to finally revive and reach those peaks we were shooting for.

I'm hoping to release many many full lengths about various things.

Hoping to get into at least one RHG (and maybe win this time)

And Idk if im the only one, but I feel this is a big summer for animation communities in general
I hear this summer Dojo, Supperbas, and TAP are planning on doing some big things
(Omg TAP's coming back)

And this may be my top thing, but I really really really really, want to see the RHG Tourney come back.
That would make this summer beyond expectations for me as an animator.

But yeah ive rambled enough, let's hear what you guys have to say ;)

O.O
Summer is one of those "go all fuckin out" moments that we, as animators, can not live without.
Im definitely looking forward to that HUGE series of yours, Mike.

Definitely going to try to animate more in general. Art and commissions have been taking up most of my time, which really puts a ding in my growth as an animator. As a goal, I'll probably try to put my art skills to use and:

-Make a few anime-style practice animations :D
-Finally start on a few animation short ideas I've had with a few friends, voice acting and all.

Stick wise I'll probably just try to become more active too.
non stick wise I'll probably work on my shuffling to make my crew proud ;D woo summer!

I won't be animating much during the summer, it's a nice time be under the sun, not the roof if you ask me. Unless it's bad weather or at night or something. I barely have time to sit down and animate something at the moment. :/
I'll be lots of stuff, mostly outdoor things and a vacation if we're lucky, and I have work. Which'll be my best time to talk to everyone here, but hey, I might get something done.

I need to get started and hopefully finish my 2 projects that I had to move aside because of my RHG. But outdoor wise, I'll try to get a girlfriend or spend more time with my friends.

Summer is when I'll hopefully have improved quite a bit. I'd like to do a full length. I guess it's too far away to be thinking about that at the moment. Plus, I still need to be thinking about the things coming up: Not only StickPage stuff, such as my RHG page, tryouts and such, but also real life things. I've got 4 GCSE exams coming up soon (2 maths, 2 German). From mid-June onwards though, I'll be animating a lot more, and, once again, would like to make a full length in the summer. :)

Also, Rosie. It's fun to animate outside sometimes :D If you have a laptop. In some shade, in the sun. Whatever! I do it loads, whenever the weather's nice, I just take my laptop outside and animate, etc. (Although I haven't in a while) :)

Edit: Regarding real life stuff. I'm going on holiday for 3 weeks to Greece to see my dad and his side of the family. I'll be meeting with friends loads, and just chilling. I love summer weather! (But I also love snow, strangely. Anything in the middle is boring ;))

Oh man, I have way too many ambitions and much too little willpower.

-In this coming month I aim to revise for my A levels which are in a month's time. My complete lack of revision thus far means that I really must only focus on that to make up for it, everything else will have to be pushed to the sidelines.
-After my exams, I'll have about 4 months before the start of the next educational year (and even though I'm going on a gap year before uni, in that I'll be doing another A level and hopefully working). So in those 4 months I wana do the following:
--Read a hell of a lot more, I've only just started getting into my reading again.
--Consistently write more of my novel.
--put more effort into getting fit
--Do more life drawing.
--Get more involved in art (e.g. going to the Tate Gallery with my dad)
--See the girl I'm seeing a lot more. She's going to wales for uni in a few months, so I need to make the most of my time with her. We're going to be going to the lake district for a few days, hopefully.
--Get a part-time job. When the year ends I'm going to have to contribute to my gym membership and rent for my room, as my mom doesn't get government help for paying for me once I've officially ceased lower education.

Maybe I'll write up a peice of story thats been on my mind for a while.
And improve in animating
Also play more Stick Empiers, focusing on getting more members for my clan.
Masturbate.
Watch more animes, read more mangas.
Maybe studying.

Look at this lifeless person.

Who needs a life when you have the internet, and Japanese comics?
Not this guy.

Lol.

- Get better at 3D modeling
- Actually work out consistently, goddammit, instead of going to Crunch for two weeks and then "forgetting"
- Finish a mid-length project that I've started instead of shitting out a quarter of the way through
- Make a YT channel with consistent (perhaps bi-weekly) content
- Do some freelance writing jobs, or try to at least
