I know there was a livestream and stuff, but unfortunately I missed it, I was either asleep or at school at the time. And I'm pretty sure many others did miss it too. So would any one care to explain to me, what exactly is that site? Will it be open for anyone? Is hyun gay?

According to the promo I saw, it looks like another fluidanims, only better. I think it may have a forum too.

HERE IS THE ANSWER EVERYONE'S LOOKING FOR:

Hey guys just to clear things up for you. The Dojo is not going to be a stickfigure based community, but rather a flash animation community that welcomes all forms of animation like fullbody, sprites, stickfigures, etc. It's NOT going to be a private place where all the elite animators go. It will be a 100% community-run website with a forum, personalized profiles (like facebook), a portal to watch community animations, and a lot more. People are saying it's going to be the next Fluidanims, and that is wrong. A more accurate way to describe it is more along the lines of a new Facebook/Newgrounds/Youtube. YES it will have a large number of stick animators (because I'll still personally animate sticks), but it will also cater just as equally to other forms of animations as well. MY main goal is to have a place that will magnify the community's animation skills and creativity, not to hold it down because of money/business/politics. I've already pumped almost my entire life savings to get this whole thing started and for it to be the best place for animations / animators today. It wont be "just another website" it will be THE website to go to for all aspiring flash animators.

edit: Also public beta release will be sometime later this May so look forward to it!

Hyun's Dojo is another animation site for experienced animators who wants to take their skills to another level and doing things besides stick-figures, like Full-Body. Unfortunately, the site's not open to the public because it is going through some bugs and errors that they need to fix, such as the portal. It has sent invites to a number of animators to help build up the site before it goes viral. A lot of people says it's going to be the new "fluidanims," but in retrospect, it's a site for animators with higher animating skills, and are willing to accept animation as a career of their choice, not just some hobby.

So far only people that have watched his livestream are in, because they got an invite.
I thnik the site is still in some small development. Otherwise yeah it's pretty much like FA used to be, just better.
About it getting public. From what I've heard and been told.....not for a long time.

Correct me if im wrong.

You can learn more about Hyun's Dojo at our YouTube page, where I uploaded the Livestream Q&A for those who missed it. It explains pretty much everything you need to know about the website. Hyun is starting to hand out more invites lately, so you can hang around his stream or follow us on Twitter @hyunsdojo where we will periodically be giving invites.

Well if you guys are right, I should get on with my practice. I'm already at a pretty good level, in about a year only. I think it might be another year or something till I go pro. Besides, I take animation as more than hobby, I'm planning to study it in university or something related.

EDIT: Oh, thanks jeff!

So...
Is everyone gonna be migrating to Hyun's Dojo when it becomes public? Looks pretty cool.

Yeah I agree it looks cool from the preview. It's going to be free of lazy people.

People won't migrate there because it isn't based just on stickfigures, rather flash in general. Maple Animators, Spriters, Fullbody. The whole Kazoo
It would be an alternative not a replacement.

I very seriously doubt this.

On topic, I'll probably spend a lot of time there, at least with all of my artwork and animations. It would be nice if some actual big names would be active members on the forum :/ It's so uninspiring to want to post stuff here :(
