I have been inactive for making art for WAY to long. This piece is inspired by a new character for my part in wRHG, and it's just to help me get back into using my tablet. Trying a few new skills I learned from other artists, this is an in progress work. The line-art itself is taking a few hours...

CnC is appreciated as I go along.

edit 1: added a little more color and shading.

His torso gets really thin towards the bottom.

Hmm... I can probably fix the torso, but I'm not too sure about the biceps. Ill give it a shot though. Thanks

I'd say the ear is just a little bit too high and small, and the right shoulder should fall behind the body a bit more.
And if the two lines on his chest represent the collarbones, they should be higher.
It's just itty bitty details, good work though.

Why did this take hours?
It looks mediocre.

Eh, I haven't used my tablet in a few weeks, so this was a rust-breaking piece centered solely on trying new techniques. It took forever to find the right shade a skin tone for him, and even longer to apply shading with the airbrush. I'm still trying to ease back into it, and this isn't even the final version. I felt accomplished just doing this in between finals and major essays.

Oh, and I don't use SAI or Flash like most people. This was done in Autodesk Sketchbook, and I think it's turning out pretty well.
