I'm talking about winning skirmishes. Maybe vs 4 speartons with fully upgraded giant and one meric??? It is possible, and giant kiting could help it.

well, 1 fully upgraded giant can kill 3 speartons (without kiting),but against 4 speartons it could help with kiting, but I dont know....

I don't think kiting will do any good for giant when fighting 4 spearton...too slow to avoid any continous strikes.

I mean lowering the time between throws could do extra damage to the speartons...

actually not EXTRA damage, but FASTER damage.
@ 300noob
well I think yes, because kiting will let them throw faster bolders then without, but the fact is: How much faster would they throw with bolders by kiting then without?

View Profile Let me put it in the most simple way.
KITING = have your ranged units shoot and run back while reloading and then stop for a very very short period and shoot then continue running.
There are several version of kiting:
Frost: shoot, right click to run back then hit the garrison when done reloading and after the shot, right click to continue to run back further a few steps then hit garrison when done reloading and so on.
Some other version: shoot, run back and click attack move command when done reloading and then run back and so on.

View Profile My version of kiting is to shoot and run back, then click, then if he runs away, go in front, shoot . Sometimes it works very well and sometimes it is very bad. I even kited 3 swords before
