Lets face it, everyone here has a project that is currently in the works, and undoubtedly you are itching to show it off so far and get some honest critiques and opinions. Rather than just making a thread about it, why not post it here in the new development thread?

Might as well get the ball rolling with something of my own, since I'm sure a few of you would like to see some sort of content.

It's a little something I'm doing for the hell of it. Think of it as the last stick movie I'll ever do.

Rednetrab, go away. This thread isn't so that people can go around and say, "Dude your project is gay". Instead of being a total cunt, give him some fucking feedback. Tell him what to improve on so that it looks better when it's finished.

Er yeah thanks Spazzy.
And I suppose that was decent feedback if anything Rednetrab.
Just be a bit nicer and tell me what to improve on.

I wish I had a scanner because I am doing a traditional animation music video for the song "End of the World as we know it". I am going great with it so far but I cant post it right now.....I will post an animation soon because I have a device called the lunchbox but it would take hours to get every frame that I have done in the device.(the skeleton not the fullbody which is a work in progress)

You mean pencil and paper, cmkinsac? Do you at least have a digital camera?

Metalxghost, it's going good, but it looks like it's gonna be really short. And when he hits the enemies, the go flying way faster than they should. Especially for the force that the main stick hits them with.

yes spazzy. As for the camera, yes but it sucks ass. I am now working out how to layer the cells (celluloid, or transparent sheets) just right. The hardest part will probably be the explosions and the destruction.

I suggest investing in a scanner. Mine is some Microtek scanner. Search that on Google and see what you can find.

I haven't done a traditional animation in years.

this is very good. how'd you make that shadow?
did you just draw it the opposite way or did you use the shadow effect?

Uhh, the way I do shadows is actually quite different than either of those. I take the animation of the stick figure itself, put it into a graphic symbol, tint the color or alpha it according to however i feel, and tweak it to follow the figure correctly. Works perfectly as a shadow.
