Haku flinched at the axe being swung at her face reflexively shooting a gale of wind at him, but like the symbiotic man had said, there was particular barrier that shielded him from her powers. She didn't understand some of words he spoke, but she did understand his intentions at least. Several papers danced around the room as she quickly realized the mess she had made. "S-sorry about that..."

"Nobody really has a problem with messes here." said The Beast, sticking the papers back into their original positions using tendrils.

"Hey, slimeball, leave the girly alone. Can't you tell she's a little nervous here?" Chance exclaimed, casually stepping front of The beast with a smirk. "So no even trying to break the barrier, mate. No one can, not even you."

Chance swept his hair back and walked towards Haku, where he gently slid himself down the wall to sit next to her, but not too close. Smiling, he held his out in a friendly gesture.
"I'm Chance. I see you've already met my friend Lucas here." He gave a courteous nod towards Luke. "If you have any questions or you're frightened, stick with him." Chance ended with a slight wink to the small girl.

"N-no I'm okay..." She mumbled feeling a little uncomfortable about the wink as she scooted away from Chance. With all of these characters approaching her, she didn't know exactly what to say. "S-so umm...what do you guys do here?"

"I-I see," she replied. She did not expect so many people to be talking to her at once. The amount of new acquaintances had rapidly increased with the short time she had entered the room, which made her feel a little light-headed."S-sorry...I just need a little space." Feeling a little overwhelmed, Haku quickly moved to the couch and pointed at the empty seat next the girl who had been quiet the whole time. "I-is it okay if I sit here?"

The Beast walked away because of Haku's request.

"Its fine, I'm Acel by the way. Call me Cecelia though."
The last episode of the season 4 of Mariana Pineda finished and Acel got up to place the 5th season blu-ray in.
"Yah, the guys can be a little crazy but they're alright." she said her eyes glued to the television.
"What do yah think?"

"Haku, and they're alright...I-I think," she replied shyly peeking out of the corner of her eye every now and again at the young woman. Something about Acel felt familiar somehow, but Haku couldn't put a finger to what it was. Strange bumps underneath Acel's shirt caught her eye as she pointed towards one, "Umm...Acel? I'm sorry to bother you, but...umm...t-that?"

Puzzled, Acel racked her mind as to what Haku could possibly be talking about.
"What could you possibly be talking about, Haku?" she said her face warming up.

The friendly face caught Haku off guard as she quickly stared down at her hands. Redness began to flow to her cheeks, out of embarrassment for not being specific enough. "Umm...Are those? Spikes?"

Kotasa's head turned when he heard Gorsgan shout. His eyes glowed brightly red, almost burning in anger. He watched as Gorsgan walked out and paved a path of destruction through the forest. He stepped just outside the chat room, produced a ball of raging green fire in his hand, and flung the ravenous fireball after the departing warrior. Walking back in, he says "If he thinks he is so powerful, let us see how long he can bear the same curse that I am bearing."

"Hmm, you mean these?" said Acel pulling out the hilts of her laser blades, "Don't look for things that aren't there. If I had spikes coming out of my body, I think I would know." she joked.

The Beast walks up to Kotasa. "Calm down. Also, I'm curse proof." says The B east, sticking Kotasa to the ceiling with an indestructible tendril, hanging him upside down as a joke

Haku laughed weakly, "Y-you're right! What was I thinking." "Stupid writer misleading me," she thought to herself. Then what was it that made Acel so familiar? "She smells of demon blood," rumbled the voice in her head.

A demon? No, it couldn't...could it? She had to make sure. "S-so...ummm...this maybe a weird thing for me to ask, but have are you...ummm..." Haku leaned in closer to Acel's ear and whispered. "...familiar with demons?"
