Please please please remove the thing where is says "Soandso is lagging and will forfeit in X seconds", because I have been playing this game a fair amount recently, and I have finished ONE game in the past 8-10 games, always because me or my opponent "Forfeits"

Why is it a problem? A win is a win.

I made a thread like this before, it was good at first but then a pro player came along and said some stuff and that is when people decided forfeit needs to stay.

Actually lag/forfeit needs to be removed its so unfair to people who only has one win and several losses ya know sucking those rating points just to get on the top 100

Then what about this option: If you lagout, you dont loose rating points, and your enemy gain points (otherwise he wasted time)

Exploitable Shadow, just too exploitable.

Perhaps if it was the other way around, and the one who lags loses points while the victor doesnt gain any It might work, butI can see people lagging out when they're losing out of spite to the other player.

why the other way around? And why shouldnt the winner gain points? Sorry, I dont understand. And the thread is made to solve the lagout-loosing-rating-points problem. The other option is of course to buy a computer without lags...

With the current system we have, theres no real efficient way to boost your account by using an alt, as everytime someone wins or loses, one player loses points while the other gains them. This means theres no way to boost your account other than grinding one account up, sucking up his rating with your main account, and grinding him back up again. This is hugely inefficient, and it would probably just be easier to grind the main account. But, with your idea of not losing any rating, All one needs to do is grind one account into a very high position, then he can keep using that account, over and over again by opening new tabs, watching youtube videos, ect. You might say, "well, if he can only get an alt to one point, and his main account higher, then it doesnt really matter right?" But after boosting his main account higher than the alt, he can then boost his alt higher than the main account, then back again. and this could go on until he reached the leaderboards.

You have to consider every point of view, not just those who dont like the system.

Oh, thanks for the introduction. Now I understand. But althought: There are situations where the lagout-loosing-rating-points problem is unfair...

True, but theres always the arguement of "If your constantly lagging out, then you shouldnt be higher on the leaderboards" and also, "If your not lagging out and they are, youll eventually reach the zone where laggers are more rare."

why is it exploitable, if y have 2 account and ya hit them at the same times doesn't mean ya gonna "meat" it, plus, if the account are not in the same rank area, it would take forever and most would just give up

Ever play when theres only 200 or so players on? most of the time your matched with players 100 to 200 ranks below you. And the idea of this exploit is that they both boost each other, so that theyre always in the same rank level.
