MOST people are using... but not all: Defender. They are always staying in the base, defending themself by buying abilities like miner wall or castle archer.

Your going off topic. There are some uses of a spear ghost. The first use is to pressure the opponent and make him have castle archer. Also, if he only has one, his miners would have to retreat, so its also to slow down economy, or kill miners if you have other units.
If the enemey has units to attack the ghost, then the use is to deal damage to the units guarding, OR kill his miners with your other units while the spearton acts as a decoy.

Just want to add that they are also meatshields for units like kiting archers

I use them to tank damage from castle archers, but I usually expend speartons of my own and then jump the gap by buying different and more units instead of the ghost, but I do use it seldomly in some matches.

I use it to apply pressure on my opponent and try to stamp down the enemy. But that's only if I won the compete for the pillar early game. I always establish healthy economies first, though.

And make sure I secured the tower with my units. When I first saw the ghost, I thought it was an enhanced spearton. And I thought you had to pay 600 gold and 200 mana each time for it, LOL.

I rarely use tower spawn now. Unless, I'm in stalemate or I think the opponent army might defeat mine.

Yeah, I wish i could change it now. Games are too fast paced to be short a spearton for 27 seconds. I would lose the tower by then.

What is the use of the tower without tower spawn?
