I don't think barcodes would work, SJ. For one thing, gladiator battles sometimes more than messy, evisceration and total obliteration may become inevitable. The barcode is easy to destroy. The telepathic link I propose can be severed anytime, like I said, it would be a psychic call center in a way that the circle of telepaths would just 'ring' the gladiator up for a battle, vice versa is possible for challenging and communication between the combatants to the location of their fight. I am undecided with the tablet though as it can be easily lost as easy as IDs.

Facial recognition or sumthin? Or a messager like in TF2? Or custom-made communication for each gladiators, ranging from tools to psychic, with the provided able to interact with each other?

I just assume that the wRHG has some kind of Information Systems branch that uses EVERY form of surveillance from under the sun. From hidden cameras to a clan of psychics. If a telepathic link doesn't work, there's always the satellites, the seeing spirits, field agents akin to Acel and the police witnesses. If the gladiator wants to call it quits, he/she could simply talk it up to the receptionist and get taken away by the big burly men with guns.

On a tangent, the wRHG Paramedics division is one of the best in the world and the R&D Division...they're big.

I agree that the wRHG system has already evolved in a way that has a place everywhere in the world. It seems as if in our time which I assume is 20XX, the wRHG has transcended into something more than a sport/job and into something that's become extremely normal. World renowned and recognized by everyone, the wRHG would indeed have all those things you've said GuardianTempest and sometimes more.

R&D? To replace em gadgets? Huh. Waaaaaaaaaaait...Then...A revolution to take hold of "immortality" and "ultimate mecha power"?

Not entirely, the R&D is broad, who knows what sector is researching what. For all I know, the one adjacent to Tabitha's office is researching better medical equipment or whatever. Although immortality's not exactly out of the question, do remember that many registered gladiators are 'immortal' one way or another.

Actually Error and Co., I was actually thinking more of like the Oracle Bell in Shaman King to be the ID sort of thing. It would serve as communication between the RHG and the gladiators for scheduled battles that they've set up and allow other gladiators to send permission to fight another gladiator which they could accept or refuse, and would would be recorded in the database. It could also have special features like one would have on a tablet like a map and stuff. It could also be able to access profiles of other gladiators (of course not all of it but a rough sheet of info about them) and maybe locate nearby gladiators~

That seems to be the idea, I mean gotta have a rough base outline of the world before we go ahead with the Civil Wars shindig. Besides I was actually thinking of what Hewitt mentioned with the series called Wild Cards. George R.R. Martin made the universe and the main idea and different writers flocked in to write short stories based on it. Sort of like a collab. It would be cool if the Lounge could be something similar to it~

How should we start it then? We have a basic idea which is the gladiatorial system. Like SJ said, it could have been where Romans became the dominant race and had their culture span centuries until 20XX where all our characters would be placed in. Would this world be the same as ours except with a heavy influence in Roman culture?

It would work pretty well if that's how it turns out. I mean it makes sense but maybe someone else has another idea they'd like to share? Maybe we should have a vote to see if people favours this origin story of the RHG or another idea~We are all in this together right~?

Why gladiators anyway? What about being spilt into many factions? And each factions have different architecture styles and politics, but with the R&D and Medical facilities shared. Also, the gladiators can belong to different faction that are rivals, too. That's my idea.
