Hellou,
I practiced different methods of easing, such as out and in, in alone and out alone.

In my opinion, the easing wasn't bad...

but, in the pelvic thrust thing, The black stickman kinda stopped for a sec when he got pushed by the Force pelvic thrust at the beginning...

Interesting, I've only just heard of different methods of easing now. Care to explain?

easing in: from fast to slow
easing out: from slow to fast
easing in and out: fast to slow, slow to fast (best option)

thats my guess :I

MY EARRRRRS D:
Anyway , the reaction of the victim of the pelvic thrust was a tad unrealistic, but the easing's not bad

The guy flying away in the pelvic thrust was intentional.
I limited myself to the different methods to see what I came up with

Hey great going! though i think i found a flaw so please take the critique in a positive way-

during the pelvic thrust hit if you concentrate on the grey guy you find him eased somewhat like this:
Image
which is kind of like a comet shooting off

however when the person receives a force (like a hit in this case)he is first thrown off so the spacing is more, and then it progressively decreases, so you should ease it out, not in.

There's an awesome tutorial in the official tut section which says all about the physics:
http://forums.stickpage.com/showthread.php?125-Pivot-Gravity-and-Force and of course Zed the master's easing tut

hope it helps!

Note the text indicating what type of easing I used.
Out and in were to showe that I eased in and out into the next movement.
I mixed the next two.
Where is said I eased out to the next movement, I meant I eased in to the next movement.
And vise versa.
So where it said "Easing: out" I meant that I eased in to the next movement.
Thus the strange appearance of his flying away. Nevertheless it was still intentional.

Hey i know what easing in and easing out means, there's no argument there :) During the pelvic thrust the heading reads "easing in" and that's precisely what you've done! so great job! my only point is, however, that when a body suddenly receives a large force , technically, it will NOT ease in to the movement in reality. So you should have eased out. My comment is on the physics of it. But anyway if you just wanted to try it out and see its totally cool.
