Hello,
I'm new to animation. I've been starting out with a few basic stick fights and things like that.
I'm trying to figure out what type of character I really want for my main stickfigure, like Hyun and YoYo.
If you wanna help out, feel free to give me some ideas on:
Type of weapon
Special Abilities
Combat Style
Other interesting things
Here's what I'm currently deciding on.
Weapon:
Spear
Ax
Bow 'n Arrow
Double Blades
Special Abilities (only a few of these)
Teleport to another object/stick's position, in turn teleporting that object/stick to the original position
Telekinesis
Super Strength
Combat Style:
Aggressive
Counter Attacks
Defensive (not counter attacking, letting opponent wear themselves down)
So, what do you think?
Also, deciding on names. :D
It really depends on the other stuff though.

I actually decided on a bow with blades on both ends. I like the idea of shadow manipulation, I might use it. Also, an archer has to counter attack or be aggressive, otherwise he looks like a noob running around bunny hopping and shooting arrows. ^^
So, I've narrowed it down to:
Weapon:
Bow 'n Arrow
Abilities:

Shadow Manipulation
(Would it be fair to use all of those?)
Weaknesses:
If his Shadow is hurt, it will hurt him as well.
When teleporting, he can only teleport to things he can see.
When firing the bow, if he or his Shadow is damaged, he will always misfire.

I'm just starting out (and I'm fourteen) so mine probably won't be that great. I'm trying though, and learning! A practice match would be good, but how do we cooperate?

Well, I figure just like an RHG... except we would both just make an animation for the other to see; not to be voted on :) :) the last time I animated was was 5 years ago... when I was 13.... so... Yea :/
OH! And do you have any animations done o3o I would love to see.. I used to use pivot... and I'm pretty damned good if I do say so myself -puts on a monacle-
