Microing - How you control your unit (an example would be microing with your Archidon, how are you controlling him?)

Macroing - How and when you buy your units (What units do you buy at the beginning? That is crucial throughout the game.)

Out of Sync - This usually happen sometimes throughout the game. It means the game's function is out of order, or the game's processer/computer-techy-stuff is being all messed up. It's a natural glitch, and your opponent is not doing this.

Albowtross - A nickname for Flying Crossbowman.

Wingadon - A nickname for Eclipsor.

Ninja - Self-explanatory.

Lagging - Usually throughout the game there will be a sign indicating you or your opponent is lagging. It means that you or your opponent is not functioning properly. This usually happens because of 1. Slow Internet Speed (It's nothing you can do, even if you have a fast computer. Maybe one of your family members or roommates are downloading something big, causing slowness in your internet. You must have a fast internet provider, like Comcast.), 2. Slow Computer (This game demands a lot of performance to run smoothly). Minimizing the game size and toggling the graphics quality from High to Low are great ways to increase your performance.

What I am going to show you is the more convenient way of commanding your units, instead of relying on clicking. I know a lot of beginners have this problem because it was never shown to them and that I met a lot of people who didn't realize this.


1. Press any number on your keyboard to purchase it. I hope everybody knows that already. For example, press the button 5 on your keyboard to purchase a Magikill. Press 9 to purchase an Enslaved Giant.

2. CTRL + (Insert # here) will command your specific unit through your keyboard. For example, pressing CTRL + 5 (Do not add the + sign in) will command your Magikill(s). Press CTRL + 2 to command your Swordwraths. Now you don't have to click anything (which creates huge hassle for yourself).

3. Pressing key letter G will command your specific units to garrison, or enter inside the safety of your castle walls. This is extremely helpful if you want only a certain unit(s) to stay inside the castle, instead of pressing the Retreat button, which garrisons ALL your units.

4. Pressing H will hold command your specific units. In order words, it makes your unit stay in the spot you want it to stay in, no matter what. Extremely helpful for people that are annoyed when their units keep chasing their opponents, etc.

5. Pressing S will do a stand command. It basically resets your unit(s), like change it back to it's normal state.

6. Pressing A will give you a green sword-like mouse pointer. Click on where-ever you want your units to go, and it'll go there. It will also attack your opponent's units that are in the way/path.

7. Press Q,W, or E to activate the unit's special ability. For example, press Q to activate a Spearton Wall, if you have already researched the skill. Or press Q to activate Shadowrath's Shinobi. This is extremely helpful in very dangerous situations, where you need to have the quickest reflexes to win. Clicking won't do.

Whenever you see one of your units in low health and is about to die, click on it and press hotkey G. This will make the unit retreat and stay in the safety of the Castle Walls. It's very useful throughout the match. However, apply some common sense though. If your unit is winning against your opponent's unit, but they both are dying, leave them be. You're winning anyways. An example would be a Swordwrath vs another Swordwrath.

Alright, I may not be the best Archidon microer, but I know a lot. First, click on your Archidon(s) to command them. Then, when your opponent's units charging/attacking you, click your Archidons away from your opponent (click behind your Archidon), then press G. This will cause the Archidon to garrison, and there's a certain glitch that makes the Archidon turn behind his back very quickly and shoot. I want you to keep clicking away from your opponent's units, and keep pressing G. The reason I want you to keep clicking away from your opponent is because it resets the "Garrison" mode, so you can be able to repeat this again. It may take some practice, but it works.

I never used Magikill when I was a beginner. I just don't know how to use him until someone taught me. Although they are expensive to research (500 Gold and 400 Mana), they provide the best source of firepower and damage.

This is important. You want to start off the beginning of the match correctly so you can end it correctly. Everybody starts off with 500 Gold in the beginning, so how are you going to use your money? This is called macroing.

Short Maps and Short/Medium maps - 1 Swordwrath, 1 Archidon. Small maps like Castle really screws everybody up, because both you and your opponent's base are so close to each other. You want to buy all the units as fast as you can so you can be able to destroy your opponent.


Medium maps - 2 Swordwraths, 1 Miner, and Rage. Now, you want to focus on some economy (to build higher/better units like the Spearton), while still being able to provide firepower. You must have Rage as your backup, because this skill is very devastating to your opponents, especially at the beginning.

Medium/Long maps and Long maps - 2 Miners, 1 Swordwrath. It's time that you focus on your economy more, but still want to have some sort of protection. You don't want to use 1 Swordwrath and 1 Archidon because then you'll burn your economy too fast. It's a big map, you have to focus on buying the best units available, again, like the Spearton. You still need Rage, because you still need some more Swordwrath back-ups, but just not immediately at the beginning.


Remember, you have to keep practicing. These ideas won't work for first-timers, but I gurantee you a lot of professionals do this. You want to take over the Central Tower, which is the item at the middle of the map. Taking this tower in the beginning will give you a surplus of gold, and usually wins you the match (if you know what you're doing).
