I am calm. just because the post was a bit long it doesn't mean my nostrils are flaring and I'm hellbent on destruction. All I was saying was that no one wants to here someone else's negative opinion on their favorite genre or song. This thread is just for the purpose of what you're listening to at the moment so people can see your tastes in music. You're only defending him because you probably feel the same way he does. I bet if someone came in here saying "Tool sucks" or something like that responding to your post, you'd be annoyed too. If I want an opinion on my musical taste, I'll make a thread asking people of it. Now would you do us all a favor and stop taking what I say out of context before you go around telling people not to do the same?

I would, but I actually use this thread for what it's for:

1. Posting what I'm listening to
2. Seeing what other people are listening to so that I can expand my music tastes
3. Requesting songs/albums to someone who looks like they have the same taste in music as I do.

Besides, I don't have enough of a preference towards System of a Down for me to insult them, just I feel you don't have enough of a preference towards rap to formulate an opinion towards it.
