How? I mean, I'd understand if you said "Li'l L.O.V.E.".

Del Tha Funkee Homosapien - X-Files

I'm listening to his Future Development album right now which is why I posted two of his songs now.

I don't know, I just think they could have done better on an opening single to thier comeback.

And MonsterBreath, I notice you said "rap and hip hop" in your other post. You know they aren't too different genres, right? Hip-hop is the name of the genre, but is sometimes called "rap" as sort of a nickname. Rap is actually the vocal delivery that is famous to hip-hop, which is why it's sometimes called rap.

i knew they were simmilar, but i didn't think they would be the same thing. is R&B in the same group too?

ugh, im getting tired of this name. i think im gonna rip paperclip.

@MonsterBreath, I don't think you should talk to PaperClip about name changes.

I don't think he's doing name changes anymore.

@Spazz, I always thought that hip hop and rap were different things.Like rap was Lil Jon,Shop Boys,Shawty Low.And hip hop was Wu Tang Clan,Tupac,Outkast.

It's not that they're the same thing. As i said rap is the vocal style famous to hip-hop, but is used in many other genres too. But because rap is hip-hop's trademark, it is most of the time used as a nickname for the genre. R&B isn't really related. That's more along the lines of Alicia Keys or stuff like that, but many of them are incorporating beats inspired by hip-hop now.

He isn't.

And I think you're getting confused with the overall genre and the subgenres. crunk is a subgenre to hip-hop, much like metal or punk are subgenre to rock. Lil Jon is more along the lines of crunk while Wu-Tang and 'Pac are more gangsta. Outkast isn't in the same subgenre as Wu-Tang and 'Pac. Outkast is more alternative, like Del Tha Funkee Homosapien.
