Lol yeah, they have aired, Frostneuroz. I checked our country's cinema website and knew that After Earth has been played on cinema (probably just today, seeing the current date somewhere below After Earth's airtime). :o
And Epic has been released since today, too. Here's the airtime, and have fun watching.
Sigh, now that you mentioned After Earth (which are both starred by real-time father and son, Will and Jaden Smith), I REALLY want to watch 'em all but never intend to do it because of my current business. I usually watch on the cinema if there's somebody who persuaded me.
I found something on the After Earth wikipedia about the receptions:
Rotten Tomatoes (Click to Show)
Rotten Tomatoes rated the film as 11% (don't know, that's kinda low)
Joe Morgenstern's review (Click to Show)
Joe Morgenstern, film critic for The Wall Street Journal, opened his review by asking: "Is After Earth the worst movie ever made?" His answer was "Maybe not; there's always Battlefield Earth to remind us how low the bar can go."

First, I am a HUGE sci-fi fan and love most sci-fi movies but this was just wrong on so many levels. Bad acting.... No plot.... Story was all overthe place...you couldn't get a good understanding of what was going on in the movie. Graphics & visuals were so,so. I would wait for DVD/Blu Ray and even then I would avoid this movie. I feel like they made a movie just so Will Smith's son could star in it. Save your money. Trust me, you will thank me! I almost walked out of the theater at one point because it just wasn't worth sitting through anymore of its. ..... ..... ..... Nothing else to say. Just save your money! Why Will Smith? You had a pretty good rep on movies now you're starting the Tom Cruise slide into just making a movie cause you think you should.

IMDb rated the film: 4.8/10
What's wrong with After Earth? I should buy a BLU-RAY CD someday and watch it to see how cool it is and try finding about why peoples rated it very low. ._.

Those guys are meany >:I
I wanted to watch After Earth but my school started at the release day :C
I've heard a lot of positive talk about After Earth, but the opposite goes for Epic. I've seen Epic, it's not great, but not bad, it seems most appealing to younger children, like, 10-13 if you asked me.
Looks really interesting. From what I can tell and their description, I'm still believing that the lego guys are stop motioned while the faces and effects are all CGI. If not, this still looks interesting. :O
