would it be possible to stick a few merics in front of your miners and garrison the rest of your army so that the ghost would not end up dying and the merics will heal each other so they wont die either, or will the merics eventually damage the ghost also? and if this is possible then it would mean that you woudnt have to deal with ghost spawn two, i might try it, you could too ill reply the outcome, if someone else doesnt
this is a different outcome same concept though

The merics do damage. There are two methods to stalling a ghost:
1) Place a spearton in shield wall and merics behind it.
2) Luring the ghost away from your base with a spearton or other unit.

but it makes for an interesting match, i meany really, watch the replay, its good to know that ghost can also be healed
one giant, maybe 12 merics, and 2 magikill hidden among them can really pack some damage along with ghost
those albows didnt stand a chance

most players use the ghost as a meatshield for archers, so if they send some units behind it, your basically forced to kill it or face a lot of damage.

Yea, so unless you have ranged units backing a small spear wall that is being healed..... I doubt this would work.

yes 6 speartons in shield wall mode and a couple merics spaced out with cure ability with a miner wall inbetween them so they can not be assassinated works while i had my mages and giants out in the backity back
and i can have back up merics behind the two main merics in case they decide to bring archidons into the equation

This is sound, but the giant ghost can push units backwards with its boulders. Eventually, your speartons would be pushed behind the miner walls, then the wall is destroyed and boom, merics can be assassinated. Of course, you could always move your speartons back up, but the OCD me would cringe at the imperfect spearton line.

My other spears destroy your miners, m magikill destroy your merics, while your spears are just doing nothing :p

I usually harass with archers, much safer, especially if they have castle archers. And why not shield bash?

If u harras with archers only, the pace is much more slower than sending your army in, blasting the miners and poison them.

In my view, the point of harassing is to slow your opponent down, but if you send your whole army in, they could get killed, especially if they are hiding something like a magikill. If I play it safe, I run less risk of losing parts of my army.

The ghost will keep attacking, and it won't die. Really useful xD works on giant too

Except, this is a glitch that's gonna be patched, in fact, I think it already got patched.
