its cool i liked it. i got all the way through the "how to play" thing the dissapearing boxes dissapeared to fast when i tried to run over them i ended up just jumping...

Someone stole the fla and cut off the running, then submitted it onto the portal. But it got blammed.

Its say8ing that the clipevent codes are only allowed on movieclip instances. I believe you are putting the codes on the frame. Its supposed to go inside the player movieclip on I think its the attack movieclip, I could be wrong though, check the tut. I believe I stated that this tut is not for people just starting scripting and they have to have a basic knowledge of the codes. So don't expect to get it the first time. Go learn some more codes and try my tut again. ^_^

and sorry about the MASSIVE delay in responing [lol couple months] I don't come to this section and check my threads often.

Finally! A simple, easy to understand tutorial on making a flash game. Helped me alot. But my character has the occasional falling throught the ground thing, not a serious issue but if there is a solution to that problem, I would be very grateful.
