Castle dead needs to be buffed

more damage, yes. more poison damage, maybe. splash poison or target change? hell no.

Splash would be awesome, it would make it even with Order. Poison takes over for the extra firepower Order has. However, by doing this Order's Castle Archidons will still be better because units can be poisoned once, the fire power can be used as much times as they want (ALL THE TIME).

I agree splash might be OP. So make the splash only poison. No damage. Unless you want to add damage then go ahead.

Only thing castle dead is good at is supporting your fully grown army from an attack

Are you fucking kidding? So if we pressure with 3 archidons on a medium map, and you get castle dead, all 3 die? How does that make it equal to ord er? That makes it much better.

JerryTT, as THEFORCE is saying ... you get a Spearton/Tanker. As Merich1 said, against Chaos... they all die anyway at the end.

Theres something called moving them out of the castle archers range. Thats not so hard is it? maybe theyll be at half health but at least they will survive. At a long or medium map, if you pressure and they get a castle dead, theres no chance for survival.

Well, that's for people who are actually good at microing an Archer. From MY point of view there's not much difference.

Besides, just use a Spearton and tank while you pressure. Or SEPARATE your Archers, maybe?

... really? its not that hard. so what do you do whenever you pressure with archers? just let them die? smart. and im talking early game. losing 3 archers early game is devastating if both players know what theyre doing. And im talking about your shooting at their miners, THEN they buy a dead. no escape possible. 3 dead, no matter what. easy win for chaos. and separating doesnt help as when your running back, the archers will group back up, and then all 3 will still get poisoned.

You could always keep 1 Archidon on hold still shooting and save the other two, right?

Like i said, early game. EARLY GAME. One does not simply get speartons early game. geez. but yeah, i guess the splitting and having one stay could work. but if thats the csae, then the poison buff wouldnt be that much of a buff right? :/
