A few games ago, i went up against a chaos player with an interesting strategy- he went for a quick bomber, and had it blow up my miners instead of my other units. This was really annoying, as it prevented me from getting a stable economy.:mad: Any suggestions?

Archers can shoot bombers before they do any real damage and you need quite a few bombers to get through a miner wall. Even more if there are archers behind it shooting.

Also, separate your miners so that they have to waste 3 bombers(225 gold) to kill 1 miner (150 gold)

and yes, kite them with archers.

Might I add, miners are naturally seperated in groups of 2 for each gold mine. So if bombers come to attack your miners, don't garrison them, they will bunch up at the castle entrance.

Lol just getyour swords to actually KIlL their miners when their bombers try to kill yours. 3 bombers kill an archer, but not 2, so get an archer and its done.

I have doubts this would work on a long map since bombers are faster than swords.

I believe if the bombers go in a zig-zag up and down while chasing the archers, they may be fast enough to dodge the arrows, but I am not entirely sure.

Zig zag doesn't work. Its 6, not 2

What if you split them into 2 groups of 3, one behind the other? 3 bombers can kill all the low-health units like archers and swords, so this also has the advantage of countering the spliting of units.

LOL....then wouldnt it be better to use Crawlers too? Havent they got more health then bombers?

Get 1 sword, 1 miner wall and all this is settled. If u want to take tower use your forces

I think that separating the miners is probably enough, since this strategy is only effective on larger maps. (on shorter ones, i can just build a fast swordwrath and kill more of his miners than he can kill mine.) However, because it is chaos, the miner wall may still be of use.
