This question is a little broad. Who exactly are we killing? A perfect crime depends not only on the aftermath, but the scenario beforehand. You could be more specific. And don't just say "a normal guy" cause that's just boring.

In my opinion, a better way to use this thread is by giving us a full scenario (with details and everything) and challenging us who can make the best perfect crime.

How about stabbing a person with an icicle?

I would begin by becoming friends with this person, make him trust me. Then I would ask if I can stay at his house because mine is being reconstructed due to broken parts of the house that "just happened". Then, I'd wait til he fell asleep. I would then grab a butcher knife and stab him again and again, then burn the body and the knife to char while washing every single thing that got his blood on. Then, , i would put a cigarette next to a flammable item in the house, and set the place on fire, making it seem like he was smoking and dropped a lit cigarette on a highly flammable item. This would cause it to look like an accident as I call 911, saying there is a huge fire. I would run out and as the firemen come in, they would find his charred body and I would explain everything about the cigarette and flammable item and how he was trapped and i couldn't save him. This would make it seem like a complete accident. Plus, his body would be so charred that they wouldn't be able to notice the stab wounds, and just in case they did i would put giant broken pieces of glass next to him, insinuating that it was glass shards that caused the stabbing. And the fire would burn any fingerprints in the house as well. That, friends, is the perfect crime

Well you missed something what If there's a person that he sayed to the police that you spend the night with him ? And what about blood on your clothes ? Even if you burnt them would you run naked from his home to yours so you change ? And what a flameable thing would do beside a bed ? And what if firefighters get the fire down before it burns al evidences ?

When he steps out, I'll aim at his head and fire the gun. He lands on the ground, covered in blood. I throw the gun inside the building and run away. I'll call 911 so they'll think that I found the body, but didn't kill him. The police will come and will probably think the one of his parents are the suspects since the gun is inside the building.

Nah you get it all wrong ! First of all let's say your father have a gun and a silencer (which's a long shot !) So When you shot him it might be some witness eye, beside you throw the weapon full with your fingers prints ! And If your father bought it then it will be registred so it's easy to know to who it belongs ! And Isn't your father will notice the missing gun ? It's a missing gun ! Not a missing Gum, So yea this is an epic fail assasination

Even if the person says I was there I could say it just happened while we were sleeping, and I said I would wash the blood off everything before I began the fire, and at that point I would have burned the body and destroyed the knife before the real fire began, making the evidence already gone. And there's alotta flammable things that could be beside a bed.

My crime was so perfect that DF didn't reply it, and then, there is not any mistake.
