Okay cool.
Are the rods going to fall while we spawn them, though? If they do then we probably wouldn't have enough time to attach a pin onto it before it fell. But its great that you're making progress with this now.
Hmm, that could be a problem. Using slow motion might help, though if it's too hard I'll make it so you can pause the simulation completely.

i got an idea, a helicopter joint, may be it can go something like this?
That's cool, but I don't think 3D stuff would work too well. What sort of contraption would you use it for?

I would use it for either a blender or to slowly lift an anvil then a breakable hinge can snap the anvil off the helicopter joint thing at a height you can set then the guy dies

Yeah. Having a pause button implemented would be a great plus.

you can take it
xiaoxiao vs ragdoll
ragdoll is standing on edge, then xiao is quietly steals up to him, and push him in down. ragdoll is scraeming like:
1. Hooollllyyy s***!!!
2. AAAAAARRGHHHH
3. Awww s***!!!
then he is falls on sharp stone, and is got porridge from entrails, shelters and belches.

This game isn't like "Die in style" or "Kill Crazy Jay" or anything else. It's a physics game where you design how the ragdoll dies, and not the creator.

but I about this nothing have not said.
in play will from the side be a scale of power of the push, from which depends wail, velocity of the fall, and laughter at the end

He said it's not that type of game. Read the post your replying to before posting.

Okay, I missed Friday on account of working on another prototype that turned out not to be fun enough to use in a game, but such is the nature of prototypes... :/

I'll be working on Engine Prototype 04 tomorrow. I'll let you know how far I get.

What is there to rate "not fun" out of being able to make boards/lines appear?
Either way, I await your progress for tomarrow. :D

I know that you're too stupid to really give good ideas, but I still have to point this out.
If the cage dropped from the sky, where would the lion come from?

Ah, the non-fun-ness was for a different prototype, for a platformer-ish game. I can post it online sometime.

Anyway, I regret to report that this is the first time I've been able to get on the computer today, and I have to go to sleep soon. Today was a weird day. :p So, tomorrow. I will stick to that.

Please, if you might, continue to await eagerly my progress for yet another day.

Also, I reread part of The Little Prince today, and this passage caught my eye:
"Only the children know what they are looking for," said the little prince. "They waste their time over a rag doll and it becomes very important to them; and if anybody takes it away from them, they cry..."

"They are lucky," the switchman said.
Could be good signature material... :)

Here is the climbing prototype, by the way: Active Sketch 02 - Ledges

Actually, I do think it's kind of fun but you can judge for yourself. :)
