there definetly should be a "Default" button, because after i've messed with the gravity, it's annoying to put it just like before.

Just finished a new prototype today. Not Dejeweled-related, but still cool. :p

It's for a project I'm working on with the artist brontosaurus. The landscape of pillars is based on his Pixel Skylines 01 piece. The birds came about as I wondered what sort of creatures might live in such a landscape.

Very well done, axcho. I have tried your latest Engine Prototype- 05 and I'm quite impressed. I hope you keep working on this and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Will there be a kind of an 'Upgrade Shop' where you can improve your building materials? I.E: For the girders you start out with wood, then go to tin, concrete, iron, steel, etc.?
Thank you, I appreciate the kind words. :) There will indeed be an upgrade shop in the game, as you describe.

I will keep that in mind for later, but at the moment I'm kind of ignoring interface issues in favor of making more progress with the physics. Thanks for the suggestion though, I'll do something about that eventually. ;) Right now the quickest way to revert to default settings is to reload the page.

There will definitely be bloodstains on the floor. Maybe even on the walls, too. ;)

This is great. I mainly like messing with the doll's movement. Maybe in the next project, you can add an option to control him and make him walk around? Just a thought, but I think it would be cool. Good work though

Blood stains on the wall would be insane :D, but will the ragdoll be like in your prototype with no knees or elbows or will the ragdoll have knees and elbows?

The ragdoll in the game will have knees and elbows. This simple one is just for testing purposes.

I got an idea :D, how about there's an option that you pick either flatground, or randomly generated terrain to mess around on

Sorry for neglecting the thread lately.

I've been working on a new game using the Flixel engine for the past several weeks, and I'm going to be releasing it in less than a week, if all goes well. It's a fun game, and I've been learning a lot from it.

I'll post here when it's done.

There will definitely be terrain options for the sandbox mode, though I'm not sure exactly what they'll be...

Okay, just thought I'd post a quick update.

The Flixel game (not Dejeweled) is going well, but I'm pushing back the release date another week because there are still some issues coming up in playtests and such. But the game is really close to being awesome, and I think the extra week will help it.
