Chains are simple, but annoying to recreate every frame. Just find a picture of a single link chain on google images, trace it in Flash, and convert what you traced to a symbol. Then, shrink the chain (using the 8 dot square tool) and copy and paste to continue making more links for the chain. Long to do, but it works.

Um for chains, try to create a pattern of it like what terkoiz did in his sprites,he create a two chains and make it a long string, and if you wanna whoosh it,just edit the design and rotate some of it's part.
And for ice, just create an figure and identify where's the shading thats all.

well , for making ice :
you do an white outline , and after drawing the shape you draw with the brush some lines for dividing sections .... after that you fill the sections with derivates of the sky blue ..
the blue that is celest ... and for makind derivates of it just use the color mixer to make it darker or lightther .. and you fill it as you want ..
TIP: do not draw any section of the same color , and start filling with da color white ....

If you have to make up words because you dot know how to explain things then you shouldn't be posting in the general help section.
