Some of you may know me by the name of Fizz. I haven't been active for a while, (2 years ish) so was quite surprised to see shiftlimits becoming a Nazcaan translator (which I'm guessing Jeff put up) and then being redirected here from fluidanims, a site which I was fairly (around 600 posts) active on. I used to be ok at animating and did 2 collabs which where pretty successful back in the day. Anyway, I was just wondering if this is the only stick community that has survived the infamous 2011/2012 "weveallgrownupandhavebettershittodothananimatestickfigures" phase, not because I want to get back into animating but simply because I'm curious.

Also is there anyone here that was on FA? I'm looking through the forums now and have not yet recognized a single name, other than stone (which surprises me because I swear FA and SP used to be rivals and shit)

Well, as you seem to know, FA had a merge with Stickpage. It was very sudden, and I don't think any of the FA members wanted it but it happened anyways. They came over, got the RHG system to this place, and made this place all active n stuffs. Some people just disappeared with the merge and some has accounts here but are 2hipster4stickpage. Also, bringing the RHG system here and making this place more active, I would say that it was quite a success considering all of the new people that are joining every day.

I believe that they did it because FA was too small. Stone wanted to have a big and famous site, so merging with another Stickfigure site seemed like a good idea for him I guess.
