came here because i saw all that epic RHG battle, and decided to hone my skills here,
for all you guys, i can't wait to work together with you guys and i still can't do anything fantastic yet, so please, by all means, anything you guys suggest that can make me and everyone else better at making flash animations, would be very appreciated.

does this forum have any events like the friday funk that Mr.S told?

Well, it is a part of the forums and I think you just participated at Friday Funk. You can join the RHG by creating your character.

A few "events" are there like the Friday Funk, but there are some little things set up by the other members called Collabs. You can mainly find them in the "Community Projects" section. A collab is basicaly a big animation based on one theme, where multiple animators are creating their parts in the animation. An example of great collab that worked a lot on tickPage is the Comeback Collab 3. It's my favourite collab so far :P

I know how you feel, but I think those rules are made for both our peace and future kindness. The main thing is that you're not allowed to double post, bump thread, flaming other members, etc.

About BSE, the latest version (it's Version 4) has just finished last April. People currently wait for the next version to come out.
About RHG, yeah I think you should read this section - especially those three threads above. Really important and useful if you're still totally new with RHG system.
By the way, have you read that Friday Funk thread you linked to us? Of course it's being held by Ezy now. Though the due date now has been shortened just until every Sunday.

wow, those comeback collab is waaaaaaay out of my league, i think i need more practising before i dive into RHG, thanks man!
i got really excited with animating since i join here (awesome, i just joined like 1 day and you guys made me really really excited to animate, i'm gonna animate till i puke rainbows! woohoo)
