Gladiator - Quitt
Quitt was a thief, but went good and legit in the end. His bad schemes disappeared. And in exchange, he gained a very weird ability. The ability to run so fast he won't leave any kind of movement trails. 'Teleportation', as the kids would call it.
His weaknesses are like a human's. He can be poisoned, but not slashed by a sword. He can dodge bullets, so he won't die easily by guns. Enemies can slow him down, if they had the ability to decrease the flow of the time-space continuum in the perimeter.
Quitt was a thief. He used to steal bags and purses for cigarettes and earphones. You could say that he was the best thief the Stick-village had. Many gangsters noticed his talent, and one day, a rich gangster from the notorious Sticktown offered him a million jewels for a golden bicycle. The bicycle was kept in the Stick-museum, but he couldn't steal it. His conscience is powerful, and he couldn't bring himself to doing it. He was just about to call the police when the rich gangster called his house. "Someone told me you're gonna tell our asses off at the police," he said. "If you do that, I will kill your fucking mother." Quitt had no choice. He ran as fast as he could, at the thug's hideout, and met other gangsters there. And his mother was tied up to, and the rich gangster was pointing a gun at her. He ran up to her, and the gangster shot the mother. Quitt went berserk, but he was shot too. He fell down, his eyes closed, and then... Darkness... He woke up. He had no memory of his past life. He teleported at the back of the gangster, and he punch his back. The other thugs lunged at him, and he easily snapped their necks off. After the killing, he stared down at a dead woman. He watched her, not realizing it was his mother... He walked out the hideout, he was reawakened. He was refreshed, enlightened. He was Quitt, the Thief.
