Awesome game, but learn some respect for real programmers. This is actionscript/javascript, correct? Well it's just scripting not programming. There's a huge difference.

I think programming is for softwares or hardwares,IDK.

A script is interpreted by a system, in this case flash, and unless there are references/reliances to it it can be removed safely. Programming is compiled into machine code, and depending on the language can be run straight off the processor etc.

When you actually do it, you see the difference so get yourself Notepad++ and start typing out assembly language. Assembly is what I call "true" programming because it is not so far from binary (01001110000 etc) yet it can be read by the computer and be used to create entire operating systems. Scripts on the other hand require one to run. Countless other hard-to-explain reasons that you can see if you try to use assembly (Or just read the source code of MikeOS, it's very well commented and documented just like DarkPanda.)



In this post I know I sound like an arrogant douche but I just can't stand it when people say their simple scripting is "programming" because then they go on thinking programming is SOOO easy then get crushed in college when they take programming based courses and fail because they think they know it all and don't have to study for that course.
