Also, another story; I was riding my bike back from fishing about 3 years ago, started crossing a road on it. It was pissing down with rain, and I had to ride down a short hill in order to reach the road. So, I had picked up quite some speed. Well, I didn't notice until the last second that a car was rocketing down the road. I crunched my front brakes, the car shot straight past my face as my back wheel was off the ground.
I have never felt fear like that ever since. My face was inches away from the car.
