Open your file into Audacity. (Or a similar program)
Save it and import it again. Usually works for me.

Can you explain more about what was going on when this occurred? Where did you get these files from? Did you do anything with them before you got this message? Details, man!
The way the error message is worded makes it sound like they're the wrong file type.

I don't understand what you mean. its a mp3 file... um idk

Okay well then the issue is probably that the sampling rate doesn't mesh well with flash. Chimero had the right idea, but s/he didn't go far enough into it. I don't use flash so I haven't had to deal with this before, but there is a thread on the Adobe forums that might solve your problem.
Something that might make things easier when you get an error message in a program is typing the exact wording of the message you get into google or some other search engine. You'll find plenty of people having the same problem as you, and solutions, 99% of the time you try that.

That happens to me a lot.
I've learned how to deal with that by inputting the music a first part of the project before anything else.
