There has been many speculations on who will show up for previous Super Smash Bros. games, especially the new one coming out soon. So, I know that you guys have your own personal list of predictions, post them down on who do YOU think will make it to the new SSB game, and you must explain why do you think that character might be in it?

Here's the list of already-confirmed new characters for the new SSB, for those who haven't been paying attention to the gaming news or the official website:

Villager from Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Classic Megaman from the classic Megaman series
Wii Fit Trainer from the Wii Fit game

Here are also the returning veterans:
Mario from Super Mario Bros.
Kirby from Kirby's Dreamland
Samus from Metroid
Fox from Star Fox
Donkey Kong from Donkey Kong
Link from Legend of Zelda
Bowser from Super Mario Bros.
Pikachu from Pokemon
Pit from Kid Icarus
Pikmin and Olimar from Pikmin
Luigi from Super Mario Bros. (Let's be honest here, not only he's been around since the first SSB, but it's the Year of Luigi, they have to bring him back)

Here's my list on who'll be on the new SSB (will update later):

Rayman: He's been around since 1995 and has been known in all Nintendo, Playstation, and Xbox consoles. He was one of Ubisoft's well known icons, that is until they made the Raving Rabbids, and Rayman seems to have vanished for a bit because of it. It all changed when Rayman finally comes back with Rayman Origins and complete with a new 2D animation style instead of its original 3D style. Ever since that game released and his return, his name has become wider known. With the new Wii U game coming up, Rayman Legends, I thought it would be appropriate if Nintendo decides to have Rayman to be part of the new SSB game. Hencing with new abilities from past games and recent ones, and his Assist Trophies (if they still have it) would consist of either Globox, Murfy the Fairy, Betilla, or Barbara from Rayman Legends.

I'm going to murder someone if they mention a 3rd party character. One, Sakurai already confirmed that any other 3rd party character other than Megaman would be very unlikely to appear. Two, its a Nintendo game, not a throw-whoever-you-want-into-the-game-because-whatever.

I think a majority of the Brawl cast is pretty much confirmed, like Peach and Yoshi for example. Other than that, its impossible to predict.

Either way, sorry to burst your bubble but Rayman will NOT be in. Or very unlikely.

Nintendo seems to appreciate megaman much more than capcom does
Looking forward to the way he plays, it looks sexy
As to who I would predict would be in it,
In terms of nintendo icons, they've pretty much covered the board on that, but personally I would love to see black mage in that bitch.
But that's just me
Also, yeah, no.
Rayman probably isnt going to be in it

Well, since it's something we always jizz in our panties over, I think Nintendo has some more fun characters hidden in for us all.
I think Bowser Jr. would make a nice touch to the game, since his paintbrush holds a lot of potential abilities.
Since Brawl choked up 3 Starfox characters, I'd expect Krystal to be one, since her staff would give her a different fighting style than the others.
And this might be unlikely, but a Koopa Troopa would be a cool character to throw in the mix, since Koopas are named after video games most well known army, the basic colours for team battle are known amongst Koopas, and they'd have kind of a cool fighting style if you asked me, since games like SM64 and Mario Power Tennis have shown off they're fast and agile, so I'd have no issue seeing them in the game.

It'd be real interesting to see Ghirahim make it on the roster; People have said this was confirmed, but I haven't seen anything regarding it officially.
I highly doubt it.

I'd love to play as a minor enemy from the mario games like dry bones or hammer bro...
or that weird football guy.
That's probably never going to happen though.
It would be nice if they brought Mewtwo back from melee and a pokemon trainer with a new set of pokemon to use (Typhlosion and Feraligatr plz).
Maybe we can get in a little street fighter in there, like Ryu or something.
I would LOVE to see them add in Shadow but that's also probably not going to happen. I don't even think they're going to put in Sonic for this one.
Heard they might be adding Vaati. Pretty excited for that.

Also, I'll throw a fit if they take out the ice climbers. I used to kick ass with Nana and Popo.

Any of the Paper Mario characters would be a nice addition to the roster.
Or they could make so that Paper Mario could use all of his partners' abilities from the game.

The Mario characters already make up the majority of the ssb roster
They really don't need more

Maybe a pokemon trainer with a different generation of starter pokemon, any of the generations would do. maybe poo from earthbound, he could be a good close combat person! Maybe bomberman could be a nice add-on too. Maybe more of the fire emblem characters

oh and.... Geno. i swear, add this guy and grown men will scream like little kids in excitement
