View Profile It's because we're not all in the same timezone and it makes sense to set the forum clock to your time so that you can accurately see when posts and threads were made when you weren't active.
How about isntead of -6 or -4 or whatever, we use 0. London time. Zed would be on his own time but, it's probably better to use something like 0 so, that it's easier for everyone for those who have to calculate time and whatnot. What do ya think?

View Profile Logically it would be easiest on average for him to use the most popular timezone. Presumably that'll either be his or the Philippines.
Six months of the year I would fight with you for GMT, but we're on daylight saving time at the moment so I'd have to do some sums wherever it ends up.

View Profile Why calculate our times with -0 when we can just use the forum's clock?

The clock at the bottom is different for everyone in a different timezone.

View Profile but the forum clock isn't the same as my time zone. or is it like that for everyone? because i live in connecticut, it's currently 3:52 pm but the forum clock says 12:51 pm

His? He lives in Texas and the US has various timezones since it's quite large. Most popular is either -4 or Phillipines.

When you register the forum sets a default time zone. I think you have to change it manually.

View Profile Holy shit everyone calm down. You guys are way overthinking this. The timezone I record this game in doesn't change anything except when everyone gets their initial target and what time the log is recorded in. It doesn't make anything unfair for anyone. Me being the manager of the game I have to view this game in my time zone in order to correctly confirm whether or not someone was killed on time. Your clock does not change.
If your target posts at 4:30 pm your time, you have until 5 pm your time to assassinate him. Even if he lives in a different time zone that does not change. Whenever you notify me when you kill your target, I will give you your next target when I'm next online. Doesn't matter what time zone, just when you do it.
There is no "forum clock". Only the time zone you set on your account on the forums. All previous assassination games have worked out up until this point, so there's nothing to worry about.

Edit: Dammit, Sacred. I had continuity and you just had to post in those thirty seconds.

View Profile i'm assuming any posts before midnight are not allowed to be assassinated? also. do edits count? if someone post something at 4:00 and edits it again at 4:35 and you only see the edit but not the legit post can we still assassinate them? because that could be a serious problem to people who wont post.
