So, since I'm a mid 1400s rated player, I have to deal with lots of people doing spearton massing and then all of them just rushing. I've tried to put up 2 miner walls and getting a couple of castle archers, but they still don't always work. So, what do you think would be the best counter for a spearton massing and then rush.

There are four units I use, swordwrath, albowtrosses, giants and magikill.

1 giant is all you need. I use it to guard the albowtrosses. It's just in case.

Raged swordwrath can outnumber and decimate the speartons and catch up to them, while albowtrosses deal alot of damage with blazing bolts.

While your walls delay them, they won't last long, nor will your castle archers. They won't do much damage. Magikill poison all the speartons then cast electric wall on your own statue, so that if the speartons attack it, they take heavy damage. Then some explosions will also help.

Resilience is also important. Get it.

Easy! 1. raging swordwrath. 2. albows with fire bolts. AND GET A MAGIKILL AND RELISENCE.

all you need are 2 castle archers, 2 walls, and 2 magikill.

I think you need more than magikill if you're going to attack after they rush :D

1. Albows with Blazing Bolts. Do NOT underestimate the damage these guys can do.
2. Miner Walls, as you said.
3. Resilience. MUST. GET. RESILIENCE. (Unless you're pro.)
4. Magikill. MAGIKILL. Electric Wall rips Speartons apart. (You usually want 2 or 3 in any case.)
5. Swords with Rage. (You shouldn't need these, but it's good to get them just in case.)
6. A few Speartons yourself, if you want to make any sort of attack after you've destroyed their Speartons.

OK, this is very simple. To figure out if your opponent is planning a Spearton Rush, check for these signs:

1. They have walls far from their base and have minimal troops guarding the miners.
2. Does not appear they want the center.
3. They are not spending gold at all, or at least not visibly.

If all these check out, they are probably planning a Spearton Rush. You can send 5 or so Rage Swordwrath or 2 Spearton to go check it out. If they have walls, place Archers as far as possible to destroy them.

Now for preparations:

You should keep control of the center and make it look as if you did not figure him out. Secretly, make 2 Walls and put 10-20 Swordwrath ready. Get 3 Spearton with Shield Wall, along with Magikill with Electric Wall. When he attacks, put the Spearton along with the first wall, then send your SwordWrath with Rage. That should deal half of them. Then, use Electric Wall to slay the rest of them. Now attack their base. You're done!

If you want to counter Spearton Mass, just make more Speartons. Simple.
