I have a question. Just curious. Does "animation" constitute as art. Are gifs and tiny interactive swfs viable entries?

I was actually debating on whether or not to allow animation into this. I want it to be primarily artwork. I was going to allow animation, but the version that is posted on the poll would be a single still image.
