So I have lost 20 battles today because of the stupid lag timer! It doesn't reset! The timer needs a fix. The lag timer not resetting is what's haunting my rating! Please, if CrazyJay is reading this, fix it.

What do you mean resetting? Are you lagging out from having a poor connection or is it on behalf of your peer? Be more specific please.

I think it's the thing that pops out and tell you that you're lagging. And if my memory serves me right, it resets every time you don't lag anymore, right?

It doesn't reset.

It actually slowly resets throughout the game. Say you lag to the point of 5 seconds. If you just after lag for another second, itll start at 5 again, but If you stay unlaggy, the timer will slowly get higher, and in say, five minutes, it should be at 15 seconds again or so.

Yeah, slowly. That's the problem. It should automatically reset. It says you'll forfeit in one second but then the lag timer removes. Then like 10 seconds later and shabam. It shows that you'll forfeit in -2 seconds and you lose.

If your lagging you should quickly scroll to a non animation area!

I always do but the problem is when I scroll back to an animation area it lags again. You stop lagging in the non animation area (for example the lag timer says that 2 seconds before you forfeit) then the lag timer disappears. You come back to the animation area and shabam. It shows you that you will forfeit in -2 seconds thus causing you to lose rating points :/

Low graphics setting if the animation is what's lagging you. Another possible solution is an ethernet cable to directly connect your computer to your router. Cheap ones can be like 20 dollars and be like 30 feet long, atleast where I live. I'm actually considering in getting one myself, since it seems my wireless card is dying on me. Oh well, it worked for a good 5 years.

I believe that animation's not the reason why I'm lagging. I think it's because I live far away from the servers? I think the servers are in USA? I live in Asia so yeah..

Well, the reasons for lagging are mostly cause of bad computer or of different timezone....
Sep 3, 2013 10:31 AM #1078679
I have a very fast computer. It's probably because of different timezone.
