Trying to find your own purpose or meaning is a life long search every human goes through.

THe meaning to life is to find a purpose in it.

I am catholic, the meaning of life is to get your self ready for some call heavan and some call the after life.

I think the meaning of life is:
Make good grades.
Graduate from high school and college.
Get married.
Get a job.
Become wealthy.
Have kids and raise them.
Do good deeds.
Retire.Die at a old age. Pretty much what MoD said.

If your theory is correct then I guess I found my meaning of life and that is to enjoy it.

There is no meaning in life except the complicated breeding cycle. (As in school, work, etc as well before you get to breeding)

If you view original life as an accident it helps you comprehend the lack of any ultimate purpose. Time goes on, and life just appeared and is just going with the flow.

Of course, you can still do things in life. It's just that individually your only meaning is as a continuer of the species.
