heres my answer, but due to the fact that i came to it studying religoins, its part of my theory of wat gods are. Gods were a race of beings with big egos who enjoyed taking credit for creation, making the uneducated aceint man beleive they were all powerful, and watch us kill eachother in there name. the ten commandments clearly state that if we accknolegde the existance of another god, we'll go to hell. the fact that it says that implies that theres more than one, and "our god" was doing that which insured he would become dominant: telling us that the others are satan in another form. other dogmas go just as far to keep followers to the "rightois path". if these jealous beings are actually a highly advanced race with superior technology, than i guess its safe to say that one had a scientific breakthrough, created intelligent life, made of it, put it on earth, and now we're entertainment for aliens. so the meaning of our life is to worship a power-hungery deity.
