As far as I understand, your guy must start in the middle and end in the middle. I think this will act the transition from each animator's part to the next one's part. This way, If my part comes just before yours, your will just start where mine ends off; in the middle.
Shaffy, correct me if my interpretation for your vision of this collab is wrong.

That I'm working on. I'm making a new example which will also be included as an actual part in the final product.

And yes, Captainalien72, your interpretation is perfect. Also, it says in the first post that you fight off a BUNCH of monsters, so basically as many as you want, but you will have to animate them disintergrating.

Btw sorry Ca72, I just had this little brainstorm in the shower about how to make the collab better, so I rushed and tried to update it quickly before you went too far on your part.

It's fine I'm progressing well into it as we speak, about 4 seconds. I just finished animating him looking around. It's looking pretty decent :) until I start on the sword slashes... I have a feeling I'm going to fail at that lol.

I'd like to get in on this action, although currently I have exams. Won't be a problem if the due date is at least after mid-november. ^^"

Nice Midfright. I finally succeeded in animating something walking on 4 legs! Keep us updated on progress and other stuff Shaffy, or else this might grow stagnant.

I'd like to join, but I have some questions I am not sure about (sorry if you answered them I tried to look everywhere for them), do we need to draw a background? And can you PM me the example? The link doesnt seem to work for me, anyway if you can answer both of these questions I am sure to participate in this collab :D

The background is included in the end of the first post, and instructions are included in the rules section. I looked into the example problem earlier, just copy and paste the url into your url bar instead of clicking the link, that works.
