By firing an arrow then immediately moving forward instead of waiting for the automated move that gives the opponent a few milliseconds to get out of range. Also. Why would you be retreating if you have an archer and sword. Your sword should tank whilst your archer attacks freely.

Didn't I use this against you a few times in random matches? But yea, what pumuecils said. Also, I think an archer can kite backwards faster than he can kite forwards, so eventually, your own archer will slowly fall out of range, while your sword will still get pummeled with arrows, keep this in mind too.
