Age: 29
Gender: Male
Abilities: Something called Hardlight Projection. Hardlight is essentially energy formed into solid objects. It can take the form of a shield, a gun, a sword, and much more, while also being able to lift things and even rip chunks of material out of the ground. Zero can acess this energy through a special gauntlet on his left arm. Additionally, he can teleport using a gauntlet on his opposite arm. His only power that does not come from the gauntlets is that he is extremely acrobatic, and knows martial arts.
Weaknesses: The fact that he is very acrobatic and that he knows martial arts part of his power are the only natural powers. All the others are synthetic, and if you took out the gauntlets then Zero would be nearly helpless, because they are connected to his brain, and if one were were destroyed, he would go into a state of partial paralysis. If both were destroyed, then he would be completely paralyzed and unable to move. Also, there is a limit to teleporting. Zero can teleport 72 times before the gauntlet shuts off.
Story: Zero was once called by the name of Aran. He lived in a happy, peaceful village secluded from the rest of the world. That all changed when the sky pirates attacked. They bombed his village, ransacked the homes, and did unmentionable things to women. Zero and his friend barely escaped into the moutains, but unfortunately, the sky pirates found them. Zero's friend sacrificed his life so that Zero could get away. The young boy managed to escape. He changed his name, and the sky pirates never found him.
As a teen, Zero was still haunted by the death of his friend, so when the top scientific facilities requested a test subject to augument with cyborg enhancements, Zero volunteered. The did the process on him, but it completely failed. The pain drove Zero to insanity, and gave him a new penchant for killing. When it was finished, he took revenge on the scientists by brutally murdering them and destroying their creations, except for two gauntlets, which he tried on, and found they gave him amazing powers. He left the lab in flames.
He went on to become a top bounty hunter, and eventually was hired to kill the leader of wRHG Program. He almost did, but then the leader made an offer Zero couldn't refuse: being a gladiator, which meant that he got to kill daily. Zero accepted the offer, and is fresh for his first battle.
Personality: As stated in the weaknesses section, Zero is insane. However, he disguises it underneath ruse of calm sanity. Zero is ruthless and will do anything to beat his opponents, so he is totally without honor.
Appearance: Think Gabilan:

from the Amulet comic book series, except the armor is plated, and all the armor plates look like the ones on his helmet. The armor is jet black, with various maroon plates and various white plates situated in places like the chest, arms, and legs. The gautlets are white and red, and the tattered cape is white. His eyes are blue. Zero has sharp teeth, long ears life an elf from the Amulet series, and blue eyes like Gabilan's. His skin is normal color, and he has white-blond hair that reaches down the the top of his neck.
Demo The tattered cloak fluttered about in the wind as Zero trotted down a well-worn dirt path, leaving footprints in the dust. A figure appeared out of the mist Several trees lined the road, and inside them crouched assassins dispatched to kill the bounty hunter. The first held one finger; two; three, and then pointed forward. Several leaped out of the trees toward Zero. A katana made of Hardlight materialized in his hand, which he held out. The black-clothed assailant fell upon the blade. He made a sort of choking sound, and spat out blood. Zero de-materialized the sword, and the assassin slumped to the ground in a pool of his own blood.
Another five attempted to hit him. Zero spread out his hands and a shield projected in front of him smashing into his enemies. Three were lucky enough to dodge, but the other two were crushed. Zero turned around to face another wave when he saw one of the assassins pull out a flare gun and point it directly at him. He formed another shield, but the ball of fire from the flare gun smashed through it and hit the bounty hunter in the chest, then exploded outwards. Zero was sent flying back, his cloak and half his mask incierated, and most of his armor charred. His vision blurred.
He shook his head to clear the thoughts, and tried to move. His body was not responding. The leader of the assassins gave orders, and two of the others picked him up and dragged him away. At this point, Zero blacked out.
About two hours later, or so Zero assumed, he woke up groggily and looked around. It was a flat white room, with no decorations, and he was strapped to a pole with some sort of rope. Three green lasers projected at the front of the room, providing no chance of escape. He surveyed the room some more, and riht when he though he had no chance of escape, a jailer walked in and untied him. Zero saw the man pull out handcuffs, but he dodged to the side and grabbed the jailer's head, which he slammed ito the pole. Gore and brain matter spattered all over the room. Zero pressed the deactivation key for the laser-bars, and went out.
He managed to find the weapons room. Foolish assassins. They had left his weapons and armor there. After outfitting himself, he activated a Hardlight Barrier, and sent it crasing toward the wall. It smashed open. There as a hunred foot drop. Zero smiled and teleported to the bottom. He formed a square under himself and flew away at a high speed.
Zero had escaped.
