if your'e just using the sprites for fun then that's fine but in an official competition its a unfair advantage.

Well I do it by importing the swf into flash and analyze the individual frames, that's what I think he did.

Well what do you want us to do? Go up to the artist's faces and ask permission or send them letters when they wouldn't even reply within a year (or if ever)? Compose our own music?
