I don't see anything good about the procrastinator achievement, except for the fact that you finished it an hour before the deadline, which do good

Like I said, these are just examples I've thought of on the spot. None of them are planned to be used in any of the rounds just yet, as they're just examples only there to display how constant achievements will work. The BSE team and I will decide what choices will suit the competition the best. But as for now, nothing has been implemented. :)

I didn't like the procrastinator achievement either, but I really couldn't think of any more achievements as of thn and real wanted to push this idea out for achievements as soon as possible.

^ this. Plus nobody would submit there entry until the last hour.
It would be better to have them for particularly skilful parts of an animation, or have no points bound to achievements (like ddc1).

The constant achievements thing will still be used, but I doubt the achievements I've stated will be, as I'm planning to create another fresh list of achievements that are fair and will be constant every round. :D

Achievements to help noobs eventually...
How about different types of achievements levels ? Like, a very hard achievement for pros who want to perfect their score by doing hard work (ex : Put a light source somewhere and animate shadows+shadings during whole anim. Note: it's an exemple.)

Yeah, I'm open for suggestions on what constant achievements there should be. Lay 'em on me. :)

Uhmmmm but... like.. you want to gi e points for these things?, I think some pictures in the frontoage of some kind of medal should be ok and leave the final score to the judges.

If anything, it should be the opposite of the procastinator achievement. Last version i remember in round 4 dabige submitted his entry like in the first week and it was damn good considering the time taken. Of course those who then submitted it last second got a higher score than him because they spent more time, so I think that of you finish really early, you should get bonus points.

Though if would be kinda unfair for someone who wants to dedicate the full month to the bse and might end up having a lower score than others just hecause they finished earlier. Which is why i think there should be some kind of medals, and not give points for achievments.
