Overall I really think that Dabig should have got at least an 8, I mean in my opinion it was really one of the best animations I've seen, other than Fl-Nordins and Nhazuls' Combo shit from youtube, and a couple other animations.

I think we need a harsh judge, I don't disagree with that. Although I obviously don't agree with all of Archs opinions either. Honestly as far as incomplete animations go, I wouldn't even bother accepting or scoring them, as they didn't actually "execute" the sequence.
When judging I would say creativity is good, quality is good, you can assess these things visually. Sequence execution should be in there as well since it's the BSE. It would taint the name not to use this category. As far as EFFORT goes, that is a rather intangible quality to grade. What quantifies effort? You don't know how hard someone worked on something? The category of effort shouldn't go beyond somebody completing the execution in the correct manner. Other than that, it's a completely biased category, given the fact that you have no way to measure the amount of effort that someone put forth, it's just your own speculation.
Edit: About the cursing Camila, I don't even mind cursing, not at fucking all. It's more of the way it's used. It can be used well to accentuate points, like "that was fucking awesome!". But when you call people fucking morons, and are telling people to shut the fuck up and yadayada, and call yourself a leader, then I begin to wonder...

Nhazul, I wish I could tell you how many times we've been told to shit the fuck up by our drill saergants already.
My point to you was directed at how you decided to proclaim how do satisfied you were and it seems like you're trying to use the acceptance of your score as a scape goat to justify your bitter feelings. To me your post was basically like saying that your animation was as good as Nordens. Since like I said, I based my scores off of the highest scoring animators work. Do you know how hard it was to give some of the new animators points? Especially when I couldn't tell they finished the animation?
My point to you was directed at how you decided to proclaim how do satisfied you were and it seems like you're trying to use the acceptance of your score as a scape goat to justify your bitter feelings. To me your post was basically like saying that your animation was as good as Nordens. Since like I said, I based my scores off of the highest scoring animators work. Do you know how hard it was to give some of the new animators points? Especially when I couldn't tell they finished the animation?

Just read my comment for you Nhazul. Yeah that was like a "do not effects and backgrounds and you will have a 10!" Maybe you could have gotten like. 7-8 with some of that but the combo if I remember correctly was pretty lame.

Yeah dude totally, it must be cool and just if your drill sergeant does it, I mean using violence and verbal abuse to hold a position of power is way cool! Except that it's not. No respect there, sorry bubs.
And I will tell you again, my score was fine, it was overly generous if anything. You are completely misreading any undertones you think I have. If I wanted to compete at Nordens level, I would have made a much more quality entry. Honestly, I'm not sure I even could have competed with him. It wasn't out of a laze that my animation was of that quality, I'm in the middle of putting a collab together with my team, and I thought it'd simply be fun to get an entry in the BSE. I went in knowing my entry would not perform well.
I don't know why you are being so skeptical of my posts, and why you are trying to read something that isn't there. I'm usually pretty up front about how I feel. I would tell you if I thought you judged ME unfairly.

Well I might as well sort these scores once again. You'll forgive me if I don't use Camila's table format but it's extremely taxing especially with over 50 people to move around:
I'll slap on the URLs later when I got the time...or if I want to. It's just too tedious with the new table format. You might wanna consider abandoning it altogether for the old style last year. Unless you can painstakingly sort it everytime, Cami.
