If it's any consolation you could insert images in pivot (last I recall). How about making it in flash then exporting them as images to be inserted into pivot.

They clearly make those weapons for flash only. It's impossible to have a highly detailed object in pivot.

It IS possible to have detailed pivot items. Check sifterpivoter's animation.
