On Fiora, I do start with W because ten AD is great, but the amount that you get from maxxing it isn't worth doing at all. It increases your DPS by almost nothing. Maxxing E first makes your dueling power skyrocket, and maxxing Q second lays the hurt on people while chasing them, as well as lowering the cooldown. I usually max W last because it provides almost nothing as it gets levelled up.

It's really helpful imo when it comes to top lane and 1v2 (or maybe even 3 if the third one is dumb). If you have attack damage runes and masteries (preferably Yasuo's), you'll be dominating your lane. I max q second because idk why, just lunge damage, and E last, altho I know it gives tons of attack speed. Killed a lot of top laners early game with w first (Hecarim, Yasuo, Zed, Teemo, etc.)

But still, no matter what you do to Fiora, if you're good at her, you're gonna be fucking carrying the game.

Level one you can have a like 52% crit chance.
You wouldn't have to build a statikk, only the IE then straight damage.
Imagine IE with 5 Bloodthirsters and still having 100% crit chance.

The downside is having very low damage early game

Yeah, your Q will definitely nuke.

But then the cooldowns on the Q will be long as fuck and he won't last in duels since the only way to win a duel with Yasuo is Q'ing all over the place.

2 second Q is pretty low, but 2 seconds can make a difference in a duel and a 5 v 5. Don't forget attack speed is the only thing that lowers his Q cooldown.

Other than that, he can pretty much one shot every mid laner and adc with that build. Or anyone that isn't a tank for that matter.

But then there's also the issue of movement speed which builds up flow...



I guess you won't survive as much with this build tbh.

Fiora is a 50/50 champion: she's ahead, you win the game; she's behind, you become useless. Because of this, what you need to do is to start dominating your lane opponent to then get ahead
About the maxing, it usually works in this way: max Q if you need burst, W if they can poke you heavily and E if you can go toe to toe for extended times. Now, considering you're talking about players who aren't that much casuals (if not at all), I assume they're already pretty skilled to deal with poke with any champ, making maxing W less efficient. About Q and W, considering today's meta being all about mobility and considering also that bursting with the Q is easier and more useful than trying to keep close to your opponent to fight during E, I'd say that they usually max Q first to get a more reliable source of damage which also serves as a double dash mobility skill
