Personality (Click to Show)
Chase doesn't have many friends since he can't stay in one place for a long period of time. Ever since his father was murdered when was thirteen, he rarely smiles or interacts with others, unless they bother him.
Story (Click to Show)
Chase was the happiest 13 year old the world has ever seen...until that dreadful day.
They came in the middle do the night in black, tinted SUVs, armed with submachine guns and assault rifles. The men used small amounts of explosives to remove the door from their hinges on the first floor. Although the blast were not supposed to wake the family, the father, while in his study, heard it. He went straight for the Glock 19 inside of the desk and loaded a magazine. Chase was sleeping when he got abruptly woken up by his dad.
Still drowsy from the sleep, he said, "W-whats going on?"
"You remember that secret passageway I showed you on your twelfth birthday? I need you to go there. Now.", Chase's dad said.
"But w-why? Isn't bad happening?", Chase said, confused.
His father looked sternly at him. "Just do what I tell you, son, and don't come out until I come and get you. Take this with you?"
Chase's father produced a small box engraved with the letter "M" on it. Knowing that his dad was serious, Chase rose up from his bed and went to his closet and spread apart his clothes, revealing a plain-looking wall. He pushed a button hidden behind a box and a slide door slid open. showing a medium sized room with water and food for a couple of days. Chase climbed into the room and sat down crisscross and clutched the box close to him. He looked at his dad for a second before the door shut itself.
Once his son was safe inside of the safe room with the watch, he left the room and went downstairs to confront the intruders. As soon as his foot hit the marble floor of the living room, lasers were trained all over his body.
"Put the weapon down and put your hands on your head. Now!", one of the soldiers said.
Chase's father did what he was told. As soon as he dropped the weapon, one of the soldiers rushed up behind him and kicked his knees so he was kneeling. A man, not dressed in combat gear, strode up to him and looked at him, seriously.
"Where is the watch, John. Tell me now.", the man said.
"I'm not telling you sh*t, Mason", John exclaimed defiantly.
Mason sighed and punched John in the face. "I'll just ask your son, then. Kelvin, go retrieve the boy."
"Yes, sir.", the soldier said and went off to search.
In the compartment, Chase heard the brief conversation about a watch. He opened the box and felt something cold and metallic. This must be the watch, he thought to himself, and closed it again. I wonder why they want it.
With a long hard search, Kelvin could not find the boy. He returned downstairs empty handed. Not satisfied with the results, Mason shot him in the head with his own gun. His brains splatter the walls and he slumped to the floor.
"Well...it seems your son is playing hide and seek. Too bad I am not willing to play this game with him." Mason said, pointing the gun at John's head. "You are of no use to me anymore."
And he fired.
Chase heard the shot and almost jumped. He already knew what happened.
"Burn this house down and we will come back later.", Mason said as he walled towards what once was the front door. The soldiers did as they were told.
Upstairs Chase whispered I wish I wasnt here. I wish I wasnt here. The box suddenly opened and the object that was in it glowed a dull blue.
In an almost human voice, the watch said, "Teleporting now."
There was a bright flash and Chase was no longer in the compartment, but in a dark alleyway.
In the following years of the tragedy, Chase found out more about the watch's abilities. With further investigation, he found out the "M" on the box stood for "Manipulator" and that not only could the the watch teleport him, it gave Chase the ability to travel through time. Chase tried countless times to go back to day when his father was killed, but the watch wouldn't let him, telling him the event was inevitable and there was nothing that could have been done to change the outcome. Sadly, he roamed the streets of cities and towns alone. But a vision showed him in an arena with other people multiple times.

Demo (Click to Show)
In present day Charleston, he roamed the crowded streets. While he was walking, there was a flash of pain, a precursor to a future event. So he wouldn't be standing in the middle of the side walk staring off into space, he took a side alley and leaned against the wall. In his mind a white backgrounded scene played out. It depicted two men in black clothing confronting him for his watch, which he didn't give up easily. In retaliation, Chase used his self trained hand to hand combat, but that was nullified when the two men pulled out handguns. They shot and then the scene ended. Chase, confused, continued walking down the alley. The men came out of their hiding spots a few minutes later.
"That's a nice watch you got there.", of the men said, eying it and proceeded towards Chase, "Let me get that off you."
Before the man could get to withing 5 feet, he was flat on his back, pain shooting from his wrist. The other man looked at his fallen comrade and back at Chase. Chase continued walking. The fallen man recovered and drew handguns.
"This is your last chance. Give me the watch or die.", the man that was flipped on his back said, "Or die."
Chase ignored him and kept walking. Agitated, the man fired the handgun. The shot rang, startling nearby cats. Chase, had anticipated the shot and had raised up a small black hole which swallowed the bullet and spit it out back at the man. The man crumpled to the ground, a pool of blood spreading around his body. The man's companion stood there, jaw dropped. Chase stopped and turned around and stared straight into eyes of the shocked man. Since he was already shaken up, the man's mind was easy to access. From there, Chase wiped the man's memory of the event and of his dead companion. Once that was done, the man stood there confused on why he was in the alley way and why there was a dead man. Did I do this, he asked himself. The man looked down the alley and saw, but when he blinked, he was gone. When the police arrived at the scene, they questioned him, but he couldn't remember anything of the event.
Chase, back on the main side walk of Downtown Charleston, continuing his traveling to nowhere exactly.
